Joey has been performing clean, thought provoking comedy for 20 years. His comedy is the result of a unique life experience and the positive attitude he keeps no matter what life throws at him. He has used his talents to raise money for many non-profit organizations such as: The Paraclete Center (Boston), the Greater Boston Food Bank, Life Is Nutz, M.O.A.R., Right Turn, Comics for Recovery, and other groups dedicated to helping people. With great pride, he has also done hundreds of fundraising shows for Police and Firefighter organizations over the years. Since 1999, Joey has used his comedy to bring much needed laughter to our troops overseas since. He loves this direct and personal way of showing his support and connecting with our always appreciative and grateful heroes. His overseas tours have included: Afghanistan, Bosnia, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, and Macedonia. A later tour took him to the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean to entertain on Naval bases. He is also a hit with audiences at sea! Joey is appreciated by cruise lines for his clean observational comedy, which also makes him a perfect act for just about any venue. Other appearances include: Celtic Pride, being featured in NESN's Roughing It and WCVB's Chronicle, Comedy Central's Pulp Comics and lastly on NECN’s Broadside with Jim Braude. Joey loves to spend his free time motorcycling, boating and restoring his 1885 Queen Anne Victorian bed & breakfast, Harrington House, in Winthrop, MA, where he lives a wonderful life with his wife, two dogs and cat.
